A switch handles all on/off and variable speed functions. They also have a role in electric breaking; they can momentarily reverse electrical polarity. Because switches use mechanical internals, they tend to degrade and wear out over time, eventually requiring replacement.

Note: Our switch fits 1-Gang Standard Switch/Outlet Wall Electrical Box – Both Metal & Plastic - Boxes must have 2” Minimum Inside Depth – Screw must be replaced with 6.32 x 3/4" Machine Screws.
